Slate Studios Recognizes Five Featured Works Across Brand Content, E-Commerce Photography, Motion Production, Retouching Services, & Studio Rentals.
At Slate Studios, we’ve gathered an extensive client portfolio since starting our advertising and editorial services back in 2015. We’re proud of continuously working with some of the world’s leading names in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle sectors and continuously supporting their newest digital content endeavors. Over the years, we’ve added new skills to our roster of creative services, upholding brands across brand content, e-commerce, motion, retouching, and studio rental. In this post, we display five different projects that include our services and discuss the production processes that have intervened in each.
DKNY
For DKNY’s leather goods campaign, our team both produced and directed some of the brand’s content that features a selection of their pieces. For this project, we put accessories under the limelight, highlighting all their unique features. DKNY’s handbags and boots are presented with a significant focus on the details, like their enameled logo and robust leather, and showcased in a sleek and minimal way that lets the accessories do the talking.
Vogue Korea
Photographed by Peter Ash Lee and styled by Julie Regalia, this editorial for Vogue Korea was shot in one of our studio rentals. At Slate, we provided the space and all the necessary equipment to produce the shoot and achieve a consistent mood and a natural and playful style with our backgrounds, lighting options, and service.
Herbivore
For this product campaign for Herbivore, shot by Maria Del Rio, our team was responsible for the post-production and retouching work. Featuring Herbivore’s botanically powered cosmetics, the images clearly depict their eerie but minimal aesthetic. They’ve been cleared of any product stains or imperfections to showcase crisp and polished pictures that perfectly represent their strive for excellence.
Mack Weldon
Produced and retouched by Slate, Mack Weldon’s campaign showcases our team’s skills to develop in-house projects fully and features some of our on-model work. The focus, in this case, is on the brand’s signature shirts, practical and efficient pieces made for everyday life. At Slate, we delivered polished images that clearly showcase the crispness of the items and materials and adjust perfectly to the modern approach to clothing of the brand.
Ahluwalia
Directed and edited by Chiara Broggi, this short fashion film of Ahluwalia’s menswear collection perfectly encompasses the label’s crafting techniques and pioneering approach to fashion through other disciplines like art or music. With a strong beat and the name of Ahluwalia repeated on a loop as music, the video is a fast-paced montage of a variety of looks on models and the different unique details characteristic of the brand. As a result, the short montage embodies the bold style of the brand and all the synergies, styles, and influences that intervene in any of Ahluwalia’s collections.
